Holidays in the Sun

What type of your holidays are your favourites? I know that some people love to have a winter holiday, look at the beauty of the snow and ski in its crisp whiteness, warming up in front of a roaring fire in a log cabin at the end of the day. Some people prefer lots of activities and do anything from white water rafting to rock climbing in order to get a great adrenaline rush. Some travel all over the world, popping into little towns and cities for short visits and trying to go to as many places as they can in a short space of time. I have never had this sort of holiday, I tend to go to a beach and spend time listening to the waves and walking along the sand. I think that it really depends on your personality as to what type of holiday is best for you. All of us need to get away from daily life and think about something different but for some people the idea of doing nothing and just relaxing is not something that they are keen on doing. I guess some people think that they could do that at home and as they are spending money they would like to use it doing something memorable. This concerns me a bit when my husband starts talking about yacht charters and how he would like that sort of holiday. I think that it would not be that memorable as it would just be laid back and relaxing with nothing much going on. I guess it is not that relaxing at home and so it would be different but I am concerned that I will not feel that I have got good value for money on a charter yachts holiday. I am sure my husband will love it so I guess I will have to go along with it and I am sure I will make the most of it.
